Welding & Metal Sculpture (CTE)

In the welding pathway, students safely learn the basics of arc welding, gas welding, forging, sheet metal, measurement, and hand tools.  After students gain competency with basic operations, they complete projects that advance skill development and success. As metalworking skills and shop confidence increase, students are guided toward projects that combine metalworking procedures and multiple steps of preparation, layout, assembly, and finishing. 

The metal sculpture program at Half Moon Bay High School includes Metal Sculpture I and Metal Sculpture II Honors.
