Mathematics

Half Moon Bay High School's current graduation requirement is three years of mathematics; however, four years of math is recommended. Counselors and Math teachers focus collaboratively to ensure rising ninth graders are properly placed in their math classes. Placement is based on the transcript, meeting prerequisites, and is aligned with CUSD Board Policy 6152.1 and CUSD Administrative Regulation 6152.1.

HMBHS offers math courses for every level and interest, including AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC.
