High School

Half Moon Bay High School is the only comprehensive high school in the Cabrillo Unified School District. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the school offers a wide array of AP and CTE courses, as well as electives ranging from marine ecology and broadcasting to metalworking and jazz ensemble. HMBHS's thriving agriculture and Future Farmers of America program includes leadership development through conferences and internships, and the various performing and visual arts programs feature plenty of showcase and performance opportunities. A complete athletics program and a long roster of clubs round out this well-rounded high school, which ultimately aims not only to provide an outstanding education for every student and equip them for the future, but also to teach, display, practice, and value kindness.
