Elementary Schools



Hatch Elementary's special programs include a two-way bilingual immersion (Spanish) program, Opera Together with the San Francisco Opera, Ocean's Week, a school play, and a Fiesta featuring performances by each class or grade level, typically in Spanish.

Among the academic highlights at El Granada are a school-wide commitment to Reading and Writing Workshop, a hands-on science lab in partnership with Miss Maker Engineering, and the Art in Action program designed around learning the techniques of renowned masters.

Farallone View is proud of its unofficial environmental science focus based on its proximity to the beach, mountains, and nature preserves. The signature Farallone View annual events, Ocean's Week and Continent Day, are celebrations of the community and rich, project-based curriculum.

Kings Mountain is a small elementary school with three combination classrooms serving approximately 60 children, K - 5. The school is committed to nurturing the development of creative, courageous, compassionate human beings while providing hands-on art and science enrichment.
