The last day to order a Yearbook online is January 25th, 2027 ($90). A limited supply will be available after this date, on a first come, first serve basis for $100.

Senior Portrait Information 2026-2027
Senior Portrait submission deadline: NO LATER than November 3rd, 2026.
If you are working with a private photographer, it is your responsibility to share the photo with us no later than the deadline. If you use our contracted Photography company, CADY, they will share with us the Senior Portrait that you select for the Yearbook pose. Please make sure to photograph with them NO LATER than October 15th, 2026, as it takes 2-3 weeks for images to process from the company.
The goal of Las Olas Yearbook is to have the student’s face as the focus of the senior portrait as well as to keep a similarity amongst the senior portraits. Therefore, if you decide to go with a company outside of CADY, we would appreciate your support in following the requirements of tux or drape for Senior pictures, with a midnight blue background. This photo will be included in the senior portrait section of the Half Moon Bay High School Las Olas Yearbook. The HMBHS Yearbook/Administration reserves the right to refuse a photo not meeting specifications. If your photo does not meet our guidelines, you will have one opportunity to submit an alternate photo.
Important dates for Senior Portraits for the Class of 2027:
The only in-house Senior Portrait session will be held in the MU at HMBHS on:
Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 11 AM to 5 PM
Online scheduling is available NOW! Appointment slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis so don't wait!
We HIGHLY recommend getting the senior portrait completed before October. There are 3 studios where you can take senior portraits - they have A LOT more flexibility, and photography options. The nearest studio location is in San Carlos, but they also have a studio in Hayward and San Jose.
After selecting the scheduling link, please scroll to the bottom of the webpage where you will see a package option titled “Simple.” This is the basic package that includes the required Yearbook portrait session. Families are welcome to choose any package they prefer; however, the “Simple” package is the appropriate option for those only interested in having the Yearbook photo taken.

The session booking fee is $29; however, you will receive a $30 purchase credit once your photos are ready. Please continue checking the scheduling link throughout the summer, as additional studio session dates become available. You can now book for July 2026, August 2026 and September 12th!

The Yearbook Class works with CADY, and all photos will automatically be submitted to the school - just be sure to select your favorite Yearbook pose by the November 3rd deadline, or a default one will be selected for you. If you choose to go with a private photographer, please make sure to have your photo emailed to the Yearbook Advisor and Ms. Acosta no later than November 3rd, 2026, to ensure the photo makes it in the Yearbook.
